I'm a Happy Lemon addict since I tasted almost all of their drinks, I guess it's time to try something new. My sister who happened to be a Milk Tea addict introduced me to another delicious tea house, the Gong Cha.

At first I was hesitant to try it, because I'm afraid that their drinks are not delicious. I tried their Winter Melon Milk Tea and I was like asdfgjkl, I'm speechless it was so delicious. No regrets!
The good thing about Gong Cha is you can customize your drinks, it depends on your preferences whether you want a 100% sweetness, 75% sweetness, 50% sweetness or 0% sweetness.

Our next visit to Gong Cha we tried the Earl Grey Milk Tea. The green tea complements well. This tea is very refreshing.
My 95 pesos is worth it. Their beverages are very affordable. You can spot Gong Cha at SM Skygarden besides Cello's Doughnut and at Shopwise Cubao,SM Mall of Asia, Glorietta 4, SM Megamall, Robinson's Place Manila, Tomas Morato and Alabang Town Center. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

Inferiority Complex

Sunday morning:

I started my day by going to church, while I am sitted I recollected all my sins, then suddenly something popped into my mind. I have so many questions in my mind, like why I do not have confidence on myself? Why do I feel like I am so incompetent, despite of all the trainings that I have attended? Why I'm so scared to try new things? Why I am so scared of policemen even if I don't do anything wrong? Why oh why?

Then I realized that all my questions can only be answered by me. I think something is wrong with me. My Psychiatric Prof once said to us that the personality we have is the product of parenting of our parents. The way our parents brought us up has a big relevance in Erik Erickson's theory. I grew up with so many fears.

I read an article of Erik Erickson's Psychosocial Development Theory. According to him that in each stage, the person MUST complete a life task that is essential to his or her well-being and mental health.
These tasks allow the person to achieve life's virtues: HOPE, PURPOSE, FIDELITY, LOVE, CARING and WISDOM. In his view, psychosocial growth occurs in sequential phases, and each stage is dependent on completion of the previous stage and life task.

I think some of the stages in psychosocial development like the Autonomy vs. Shame and Doubt and Industry vs. Inferiority are the stages that I wasn't able to complete. That's why I'm so pessimistic. Inferiority Complex that's the best description you can give to me.

Most Successful Entrepreneur

Chris Tiu is the perfect guy to bring home to meet the parents of every girl. For me he's the most perfect guy I’ve ever known, he's everything. He's successful in his craft, the most famous Non-Professional Basketball Player in the Philippines. He's a total package you got it all, name it he have it. Of all his qualities his wittiness and sense of humor are superb! I'm sure that every girl goes gaga over him.

I really enjoyed his banats in Bubble Gang's segment "Boy Pick-up". He is Boy Chicha na taga likod ng simbahan ng Baclaran. On the first round he was against Moymoy Palaboy his first banat was "Birthday ka ba? Bakit? Kasi habang papalapit ka naeexcite ako."  His second banat against Boy Pick-up was " Parang nawawala ako sa sarili ko. Bakit? Kasi nasa sayo na ako eh." His third banat, the final battle against Boy Pick-up was "Abs ka ba? Bakit? Kasi paghihirapan ko makuha ka lang." and his last banat was "Matalino ka ba? Bakit? Kasi kung matalino ka talaga sasagutin mo na ako."
Here's the video clip of his Bubble Gang's Appearance.
His guest appearance in Bubble Gang made him trend on Twitter. The funniest part was when I read Charles Tiu's tweet saying these:

After watching Bubble Gang I tweeted Chris Tiu these:
although he didn't replied, it's fine with me because I know that there are a lot of people tweeting him that time. I've been a big fan of Chris Tiu since his UAAP days. The last time I saw him was when I watched Fastbreak Charity Game held last January 6, 2012 at San Juan Sports Arena. After the game I wanted to have a picture with him but I wasn't able to do so because of a large crowd of girls surrounding him with the same intentions as mine. This is the only picture I have:
After the game my sister, her friend Jane and I went to Promenade to buy our favorite Milk Tea at Happy Lemon. Happy Everyday!

Unexpected Tweet

Everybody has their own reasons why they made an account in any social networking sites. My number one reason why I created twitter is to get in touch with my ultimate crush Adam Brody, unfortunately Adam doesn't have an official account on twitter, he said in one of his interview. For me twitter is like a mini blog I can express what I feel and what I thought at a given time and day. I tweet because I want an updates with my celebrity crush and my baller crush Gwyne Capacio. One night out of boredom I tweeted Gwyne Capacio this:
that was my first ever tweet to him. I tweeted that because he has a huge similarity with Lee Min Ho. I didn't expect a tweet from him because my sister once said to me that she tweeted Gwyne and he didn't reply. Since then it was tattooed on my mind that Gwyne is snob. After three days my sister texted me and tweeted me this:
I can't believe it! :) I'm so happy that he tweeted me, all this time I thought that he's snob but he's not! Some bloggers who blog about Gwyne said that he's nice, down to earth and accommodating. I'm the living proof that he's really nice. I replied to his tweet
although he didn't replied on my second tweet, I'm still one of the lucky girls whom Gwyne tweeted back. For Gwyne it's nothing but for his fans like me it's awesome! You have no idea how much it means to your fans Gwyne. A simple tweet like this can really change the mood of a person. Nakakagood vibes talaga! This is my early gift this year. Simply Amazing!

My New Year's Resolution

Over the last few years I've been hoping and wishing that in the coming year my life would be different. Every year I'm always saying these lines "Hopefully this year would be good for me; I want to have a stable job and to become independent." I'm tired of my life, all my friends already have their dream job, some of them are continuing their studies to become a doctor and some of them went abroad to practice our profession. It sucks knowing that I'm the only person who is left behind.

I consider myself as the modern version of Juan Tamad. I have so many hopes and dreams for myself and for my family but I don't do anything to get that, so many plans but no actions at all. I feel like the jobs that I want would come and look for me. I feel like the more I wait, the more the opportunity would come. But time flies so fast and I'm not getting any younger, I realized that all the things that I believed in for the past years were so damn wrong!

I want to prove to myself that I'm not a useless person. I will prove to them that I'm not just a pretty face and I promised to myself that no words can bring me down anymore. Dig that! Starting this January I will seek job. So by the end of 2012, since I have a job I will have a new, New Year's Resolution. Cheers!

My Fastbreak Experience

This is my first time to watch a charity game and hopefully this is the last. I arrived at San Juan Arena at exactly 2:30 PM. The venue was huge enough to cater all the people. It is a great experience knowing that Ballers and local artist are all united for a good cause. At first I thought that it was just a normal basketball game but it's not. The arena turned out to become a huge comedy bar; people inside the arena are all guffawing in unison.
Fastbreak Charity Game
Lia Cruz hosted the event. At 4:00 PM the game started MERALCO (Red Team) vs. SMART (White Team).
SMART TEAM
MERALCO TEAM
At the end of first quarter Gerald Anderson rock the house with his silent grand entrance. Everybody is shouting for Gerald Anderson and some are shouting "BUDOY". He checks in for the red shirts, whenever he is holding the ball everyone are shouting, we cannot blame them because Gerald Anderson is undeniably gorgeous. Before the end of second quarter Jose Manalo arrived. He is the coach of the SMART team.
Kiefer and Gerald trying to stop the fake commotion between Jhong and Jose
At the half Jhong Hilario showcased his dancing moves to us, the Dougie Dance. Then Lia announced that there's a mini contest, the Dougie Dance Contest, the 3-Point Shootout and 2-Point Shootout. The Dougie Dance Contestants are Kiefer Ravena, Thirdy Ravena,Young JV, Joshua Webb, Luis Alandy and Gab Valenciano.

The 3-Point Shootout players are Mark Sambrano of GMA News Team, Chris Ellis of Team Pilipinas, James Yap and Allan Caidic. Ellis and Caidic battled for the final round, Caidic won with a precarious 1 point lead 13-12.
The 3-Point shootout Players
The 2 ball contest players are Nico Salva and Young JV, Champ Lui-Pio and Ervic Vijandre, Kevin Alas and Chris Tiu, Bong Ravena and his partner and Gerald Anderson and his partner. Champ and Ervic won the game with 40 points. All the winners received a cash prize and a ball courtesy of Nike.

Before third quarter starts Jose Manalo spoofed Gerald Anderson's character in Budoy. Gerald and Jose had a showdown.

5 minutes after third quarter starts we heard a whistle blow, I thought it was the referee but it's Jose, he's now the referee of the game. "Kapag nabangga  yung mga players ni Jose foul agad itatawag nya sa red team tapos 4 freethrows  ang ibibigay nya. Kapag naka3-points naman ang team nya 4 points ang score. Kapag nakahawak ng bola ang red team tatawagan na nya ng travelling o kaya 3 second violation kahit kakapasa pa lang ng bola." At the end of third quarter the white team is now leading 86-82. *luto hmm*
Whistle blew by Coach Jose
Tado is playing for the red team he's so small that he cannot get the ball. Because of his frustration he climbed like a monkey in his opponent's back I think its Joshua Webb hahaha then JP Erram lifted him so that he can shoot the ball hahaha.
Tado
Young JV is playing for the red team he's a good player although he's small he can really score, he can throw a three. He is a shooting guard whenever he is guarding Kiefer he's dancing in front of him.

Jhong Hilario is playing for the white team he’s also dancing while playing. Before shooting the ball he will do first his signature moves the back flip and all that.

Marco Alcaraz and Ervic Vijandre are playing for the white team they're both gorgeous. Ervic is a good player he really shoots well. Marco is wearing a cute basketball shoes from Nike I think its color peach? I'm not sure.

Marco's Peach Nike shoe

Champ Lui-Pio is playing for the white team he really shoot well. I'm surprised that behind his angelic voice there's also an athletic side of him. And also Rico Blanco of the red team is playing well.

John Hall is playing for the red team. He is the simplest and down to earth artist I've ever seen. After the game he's only riding in his bicycle. Some people are saying these lines “Ay! Nakabike lang sya ang galing naman, simple lang sya."

John Hall tries to intercept a pass
The White team won 112-107. I really enjoyed the game. Thank you Ignite Media, Mav Gonzales, Lia Cruz, Kiefer Ravena and his family and to all the sponsors for making this charity possible. More power and Godbless.

Kids put a firecracker in this poor German Shepard’s mouth and then taped its jaw shut.

Some kids put firecrackers on his mouth

I saw this picture on facebook, it caught my attention. I am an animal lover and seeing this picture makes me feel sad. Why do people brutally torturing a defenseless innocent dog? Putting firecrackers on its mouth, I think the person who did this is definitely crazy! You think it's cool? If yes then go put goodbye universe on your mouth too! If you are going through something you can displace your anger to other non living things, but not with animals. Animals also have feelings and emotions like us humans. I wish that this photo will be seen by authorities and make legal actions against the person who did this. I hope that the person behind this photo will be put in jail, and serve as a warning to other people who is planning to torture animals.

Influential People

These are my influential people in 2011. These people have a big impact to me in 2011. Some people in these lists are celebrity and some are not.

Crystal Gail Nanteza

My sister she's been always there for me, always supporting me in every decision I make. She's helping my parents to earn money; she's doing everything for me and for our younger sister. She's sacrificing her personal happiness just to provide everything we need without complaining.

Diane Chloe Capacio

She's my friend and we've known each other for 11 years now. She's like my sister; I tell her all my secrets. Whenever I have a problem even if she's busy studying and doing other stuffs, she always spares time with me. She's one of the best people I’ve ever known. And I'm proud to be one of her friends.

Ma. Denisse Nanteza

She's my younger sister; she influenced me in many things. She's the one who introduced me in the world of blogging, cooking and to do stuffs like GIF making. I always consult her to check if my grammar is right. I asked her opinions whenever we buy dress or anything. She's like my personal assistant; I call her "YAYA".

Kiefer Ravena

I personally don't know him but he's introduced to me before when he was still in Grade school. I looked up to him, even if he's busy doing his stuff, he still have time to help other people. He Organized a charity games just to help the victims of Sendong. In some way he's the one who influenced me to also help in my own little way.

They are the ones who taught me to dream big. With all their inspirational stories that led me to pushed myself to the limit. Their not just my co-nurses instead they’re my friends who guides me in my career. They are the ones who believed in my capacities without judging my appearance (ectomorph body physique). We all dreamed together that one day we will go abroad to practice our profession. Some of them already reached that goal and I'm not mad that I am the only one left behind. I am happy for them. I wish all the best for them. We'll see you all soon.

Ma. Teresa Nanteza

My mother, she's the best-est mother ever. Since I was a kid she is the most influential person to me, she molded me to become a better person. Teaches me how to give without expecting. She's always there to support me in every aspects of my life. She's doing everything for us, enrolling us to a good school so we can have a good future, providing all our needs even if we don't ask for it. She is my hero, my strength, my hope and my light.

My relatives

My lola, my aunts and my uncles they have a big impact on my life without them for sure I'm already gone. When I got hospitalized some of our expenses are paid by them, they helped us not only our financial matters but also emotionally, they comforted us even if they are far from us they are still there extending their arms to us. I'm wishing that these people find more blessings and happiness in life. Thank you for inspiring me and for saving my life.

He opened my eyes in the world outside the Philippines. He said that we have better career if we go abroad. Whenever there is a job opportunity he always makes sure that I can also pass my resume. He is the one guiding us in our career. I wish him good health and a stable job. Thank you for inspiring me this year.
