Ashton Kutcher has a new brunette girlfriend named Lorene Scafaria — and he’s currently romancing her in Italy. Lorene, a screenwriter, just ended a relationship with Adam Brody, who she met on the set of The Romantics. But the plot thickens! Us Magazine is reporting Ashton and Lorene first got googly-eyed when they met back in February, nine whole months before Demi Moore filed for divorce from the cheating actor.

"Ashton started seeing her while each was in a relationship," the source tells Us of Lorene. The two met when Ashton auditioned for Lorene’s filmSeeking a Friend for the End of the World (we’re noticing a pattern of mixing work with pleasure). Ashton didn’t get the part, but apparently he got the girl! While on vacation, the lovebirds are doing what you do in Italy: eating spaghetti and staring at the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

To add insult to Demi’s injury, this isn’t the first vacation for the new couple, who reportedly nestled up in Yellowstone in early December. Reps for both Ashton and Lorene deny any canoodling and say the two are “just friends.”
