False information

Why do people fall for wrong information? There are many kinds of people in terms of accepting a new idea. One, some people accept all the things they heard without comprehending it, they just go with the flow, they embraced everything easily, for they know that the information given to them was right no second thoughts. Second, some people stick to what they believed in and they don't want to change it. And lastly, for the wise people they comprehend first what they heard and then they will decide whether the thing that they heard was right or wrong. What kind of people are you in those choices?

Not all the information given to us was right, like the latest text brigade warning us that we should stop buying Pepsi products because one of their employee has a disease called "AIDS", and he dropped some of his blood in that particular brand of soda. Before we jumped into a conclusion let's know first what is AIDS?

How can we acquire it? And how can we prevent it?HIV/AIDS or the Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome it is a sexually transmitted disease. The agent responsible for this disease is the Retrovirus Human T-cell Lymphotrophic virus 3 (HTLV-3).How can we acquire it? The mode of transmission of AIDS is thru: Sexual contact, blood transfusion, using of contaminated syringes, needle, nipper, razor blades, example I went to a salon to have a mani/pedicure. The other customer has the disease, she is the carrier of the virus when the manicurist started cleaning her nails she accidentally cut the nail short that causes bleeding. When it's already my turn the manicurist didn't sterilize the nipper or the nail cutter she once used with the other customer who has AIDS and she uses it to me, then she accidentally cut my nails short and it bleeds too. Because of that incident I can now acquired the disease. Congratulations!

How can we prevent it? We can prevent it by maintaining a monogamous relationship or one partner only. Avoid promiscuous sexual contact. Sterilize needles, syringes and instruments used for cutting. Use condoms and other protective devices.

These are the list of disease that can be transmitted thru FOODS and WATER

1. Cholera
2. Amoebiasis
3. Typhoid Fever
4. Hepatitis A

Now, tell me can we acquire the disease through ingesting that Pepsi? The answer is definitely NO! My aunt is a doctor and I asked her for confirmatory purposes that if we ingest this soda can we acquire the disease? She said that it is not true. See?

REMEMBER: Think before we act. Prevention is better than cure. If you don't want to have AIDS then go ABSTINENCE.

FYI: I'm not part of that company. So there. XOXO.
