Status: Single
I am single for 1 year and 9 months now and still counting. Being single is a no big deal for me, as long as there's my family and my friends beside me that would be okay. I'm not the kind of person who can't live without a partner/boyfriend. Being single is a good feeling, no drama or heartaches. We are free to do the things that we want to do without worrying that our boyfriend will get mad at us if we disobey his conditions, like going out with my friends. Some guys they don't allow their girlfriends to hang out with her friends. Why? Because they thought that we will just flirt other guys. Why do they think that? Because that's what they do when they hangout with their
friends, they are afraid of their own ghost. Trust is the issue.
Some guys are so demanding, they want us to be beside them all the time, to the extent that they want us to choose whether him or our friends. Both of them are really, really important to us, but we have to chose them. Why? Because they want us to prove to them that we love them and that they are our priority. They always say these words. "If you love me then you should do this and that." But because we really
love them we follow what they want to prevent misunderstanding.
I observed one thing when we girls have a love life. When we we're still single we always text our friends, we asked them to hangout, when someone has a problem we're always there to comfort them and we are always present in every gatherings. But when we already have a love life our communication to them fades away. They will know that
there's a problem going on with our relationship with our boyfriends when we started texting them again. I can also relate to that because I do it sometimes. :-). Boyfriends may come and go but our friends are always there no matter what. How will you know how close you are to your friends? Closeness of friendships doesn't need every minute conversation as long as you find time to smile remembering crazy moments together, for me it's the closest thing ever.
I have sited a few reasons why being single is a good feeling. Now, I can also give a million reasons why I should give my heart a second chance. Sometimes it gets lonely and I miss that feeling of being taken. I always reminisce all the good things that happened to me when I still have my boyfriend. Our first conversation, when he asked for my Related Learning Experience (RLE) book, on the first page of that book there's a personal information sheet. He read and copied my number. Our first kiss, it's the sweetest thing ever! Our weekly date, we always go out on a date, watched movies and have dinner for free. See the perks? Our first fight plus his sweet surrender, I got mad at him when I borrowed his phone and checked the screened messages someone is flirting with him, he replied and he flirted back. I broke up with him. On that day he asked for my forgiveness, he kneeled down on me crying and begging for my forgiveness in front of many people in a shopping mall. I don't know what to do. I was shocked! *long pause* I grab his hands and asked him to stand up and I wipe his tears. Oh my
heart melts. What's the sweetest thing he ever done for you?
By nature, boys are childish. They always tease us, because they love it when we girls get mad or jealous. Oh do they tell you that they find us cute when we got mad? Why do they like it, when we got jealous? Because they feel secured, they know that we really care and we love them.

REMEMBER THIS: Get close enough to have fun, but don't get attached
enough to get hurt. That's the exact degree of status that every
single person should get. So there. XOXO.
