High School Seniors Von Rolfe Pessumal, Kiefer Ravena and Paolo Romero are the only Blue Eaglets who have led the team to a 3-peat victory. Because of their hard work, perseverance and determination they have leave a legacy difficult to beat. Back to back to back champions
Von is a versatile player he can do whatever you want him to do. He can bring the ball to the front court, threading a pass through, hitting the three, swish fade away or the simple pull up jumper. He is "The Jack of all Trades." He takes with him every time he step on the court his heart and his passion. "I don't play balls because of the perks, I play because I love the game." he says. Von is a determined player and whenever there's a practice he always come early he do his best to improve in his crafts. He gives his 100%. Von's determination is what will raise him above proverbial noise.

natural progression. "It's nice to say that I've been in Ateneo, and that I wasn't recruited just to play basketball." he says.
When he was still in Grade School he was part of the Small Basketeers of the Philippines Team (SBP). Basketball didn't come naturally to him. It was his father who introduced it to him. His progression comes with difficulties. So when he was asked about his drastic improvements he says. "I believe it was a combination of proper training and
support from my family and friends."
Von, outside the court
He still considers his family as the most influential people in his life. His first mentor, coach and teacher were his dad. "He together with my mom supports me through everything." he says. He is a first year College student, taking up Communications. His best friend is no other than the Phenom, Kiefer Ravena.
Journey as he becomes an Eagle
after leading the Eaglets to a 3-peat victory and after making a loud noise in Juniors Division. He is one of the Eaglets who successfully penetrated the Seniors Division. Pessumal still needs to step back and give way to a more popular team mate a certain "Phenom" that is making a much louder noise in the UAAP's Seniors Division. He humbly accepted it without complaining. "As much as I would love to have the spotlight, I also love winning." he confesses. "If that means (giving away to someone) then I'd be more than willing to do so." he humbly says. Though he may be overshadowed he doesn't see it as a hindrance. Rather he uses it as a motivation. Pessumal doesn't mind if he stays too long on the bench. For him it's a no big deal. "I will get better in time." he says. "One night, the spotlight could go to one player and on the next night it could go to another." Coach Norman Black says.
